I REALLY need to schedule "blog time" into my week. I would very much like this to be a place to record our many adventures but... I have never been very good at keeping up with journals and scrapbooks etc. I am good at lists and calendars so if I add a weekly time to blog, I JUST MIGHT do it!

I WILL post next week with pictures from the boys' birthday party this weekend! Bryce turned 5 this past weekend and Skye will be 2 next week. They REALLY wanted a party together again this year. I hope this trend lasts! It sure makes the planning easier.

We've had such a beautiful little break from reality... back to school, music classes, and karate this past week. We love our activities, but this time to recharge is.... lovely. Here are some pictures of our break taken on the new camera. I am getting the feel of it- "Click" and I are going to be the best of friends!

Oh, Santa was so very good to us! The boys received beautiful gifts. A costume trunk and Twig blocks, art supplies and an easel were a few highlights. We spent a wonderful day with my family and today we are resting and packing, preparing to be with Blair's family for the next few days. My favorite gift? A new camera... a REALLY nice camera. I don't really remember when I have ever been so excited about a gift I have received ( except for diamonds. of course :). The PERFECT gift. Thank you everyone!

As it turned out, Skye was just starting a little cold... thank goodness. Bryce and I have had the sniffles too. My boys have had enough illnesses this season! I try hard to feed them well. They love fruits and veggies! We are clean"ish"... :) , I try to make sure they get enough rest, they take really good vitamins- so I somehow feel like I have failed them when they are sick... like I could/should do more. This week I added probiotics to their diets. I do understand that it is unrealistic to expect that they never get sick, I know it is just part of being a kid and being around other kids- Mommy guilt....blerg!

We had a really fun, busy week! We had a music class party which the boys really enjoyed.
Miss Terri gave them beautiful bell instruments. Bryce had his school party and Blair and I attended two school parties with his colleagues. Today we had dinner at my Aunt and Uncle's house- they hosted a "take a break" party with hot dogs and chili. It was a fun relaxing time. This week will also be busy, dear friends are coming from Georgia for a couple of days! I am VERY excited to spend time with my friend and her family!

This morning I realized that my little man, who was sleeping on my belly- of course- was really warm. He is running a low fever- just about 100 degrees, again! The poor little guy. He and big brother had "probable Swine 09'" just after Halloween and then he had RSV right after Thanksgiving. We had a Christmas party yesterday.... maybe he should avoid holidays. I hope that this is just a little bug passing through and nothing more. It is not fun when your kids are sick.

The first post... should say something brilliant. Ummmm... Hello interweb! My intentions here are to chronicle our lovely life for my memory and for my boys. I know my life is little, and ordinary, and huge, and extraordinary. Wish me luck!
